Congratulations to Mrs. Sarah Kilpatrick and Mrs. Susan Zimm who were honored at April’s Board of Education meeting as March’s Employees of the Month.
Mrs. Kilpatrick is the School #3 Guidance Counselor, the District’s Substance Awareness Coordinator, and the Anti-Bullying Specialist. She was nominated by Mrs. Horner. This is her 20th year in the district. She works very closely with students, staff, parents, other counselors, and CST members. She coordinates programs focused on positive character to enforce our anti-bullying program and drug prevention.
Mrs. Kilpatrick says, “I feel very fortunate to work with our students and the very dedicated, caring, terrific staff and administration that always go the extra mile. I was very surprised and honored to be chosen as Employee of the Month.”
Mrs. Zimm was nominated by Mrs. Kate Flanagan. Mrs. Zimm is a paraprofessional who always goes beyond the duty of a classroom aid. She initiates contact with the students and works with them both individually and in a group on a daily basis. She takes a genuine interest in each student.
