The Southampton Township Clean Community Committee is offering after-school Ecology and Nature classes to students in grades 4-7 beginning in mid-September.
Our school district will be hosting the program which is being presented by the Burlington County College's Natural and Environmental Studies Program in collaboration with the Southampton Township Clean Community Committee.
A variety of topics and activities will be presented each week during the six week program. Topics will include ecology, birds, life of a tree, pond ecology, nature journaling, water shedding and pollution.
Classes will be held from 3:30 - 5:00 pm in School #3. The maximum number for each class will be 20 students.
The program for students in grades 4 and 5 will be conducted on Mondays, beginning September 16 through October 28. Classes for students in grades 6 and 7 will be held on Wednesdays, commencing September 18 through October 30.
