Mrs. Louise Rickborn was elected to the Southampton School Board in 2017. This is her first term as a member of the School Board. Mrs. Rickborn is serving on the Curriculum and Policy Committee and is our district representative for the Burlington County School Board Association.
Mrs. Rickborn has an Art Degree from Moore College of Art and Design (in Textiles and Fashion Design) and a Master's Degree from LaSalle University in Elementary Education and Special Education.
She began her career working as a Doll Designer and Technical Manager specializing in overseas development at the Franklin Mint until 2004. Mrs. Rickborn then was Art Director, at Trimfit Hosiery where she worked and managed accounts with companies such as Kohl’s, Macy’s, Sears, Costco, BJ’s wholesale and Dillard’s until 2010.
Mrs. Rickborn then took some time off to complete her master degree and raise her daughters. In 2015, She opened up her own company and with the help of her husband, and together they build and maintain water treatment facilities in Philadelphia, employing local Carpenter’s Union and Millwrights 219.
Mrs. Rickborn was born and raised in Southampton and received an outstanding education from Southampton Township Elementary School through Lenape High School. In fact, She moved back to Southampton Township to ensure that her daughters would receive the same quality education and opportunities that she had. Both of Mrs. Rickborn’s daughters currently attend Southampton School.
Mrs. Rickborn is an active member of the Southampton Township PTA, currently holds the chair for Promotions and helps with the yearbook.
